Luke Motley, IV follows three generations of bank presidents in small town East Texas. His family and educational background has been in business, where he has developed a deep appreciation for working through commercial problems to save clients money and time. Motley analyzes a client's problems and seeks a quick, efficient resolution. But if that doesn't work, he has settled cases in mediation, tried them in arbitration, and tried them in court, concluding them on appeal. His family background makes him a natural for bringing folks together where possible, and taking the lead in court where not.
As part of the service provided to small business, Motley and other lawyers in the firm offer to work with clients in strategic planning for business growth and protection of their assets. The law firm understands the need for the small business clients to stay focused, make a profit, and continue on from generation to generation. In fact, when appropriate, Motley serves as general counsel to several small businesses, guiding them in strategic planning, litigation control, and management of risk.
Motley has had a pilot's license since 2001and flies his own plane, when needed, in service of clients' cases.
